2. Description of Services

DarkScout Intelligence provides blockchain intelligence data, including but not limited to:

  • Address attribution and entity intelligence
  • Behavioral signals and risk scoring
  • Darknet crypto monitoring (Surikata-X)
  • API access to intelligence datasets
  • Data feeds and batch exports

3. Account Registration

To access certain Services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as necessary
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. API Access and Usage

4.1 API Keys

API access requires an API key. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your API key secure and confidential
  • Not sharing your API key with unauthorized parties
  • Immediately revoking compromised API keys

4.2 Rate Limits

API usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier. Excessive usage may result in temporary or permanent suspension of access.

4.3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our Services
  • Use automated systems to access the Services without permission

5. Data License

Access to our intelligence data is subject to a separate Data License Agreement. Your use of our data must comply with the terms of that agreement.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by DarkScout Intelligence and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Payment Terms

If you purchase a subscription or license:

  • Fees are as specified in your agreement
  • Payments are due according to your billing cycle
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with notice

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance
  • Experience unexpected downtime
  • Modify or discontinue features with notice

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DARKSCOUT INTELLIGENCE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DarkScout Intelligence from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
